There are two nice hotels nearby, the Thistle Victoria and Thistle Westminster. The Victoria is right next to the station and is one of those grand railway hotels of the 19th century with high ceilings and a fancy dining room and tea room. The Westminster is a concrete building but I've been in the lobby and it looks nice. I'm not sure what they cost.

There is another hotel on Wilton Road, just south of the station but I forget its name. And there are scores of guesthouses and B & Bs in the area. My parents liked the Victoria Inn on Belgrave Rd and stayed there twice. Belgrave Road has a lot, but if you want a special experience, try to see what sort of deal the Thistle Victoria offers.

How about the Crowne Plaza – 4 star hotel very close to the theatre.
You could try a few sites to see if any of them have any deals for this hotel or book directly with them
